Built in 1991, the star shaped Meliá Varadero was the first five star resort on this island and certainly remains to be one of the best. The lobby has an open circular atrium with rooms spiraling upwards and vines and ivy cascading down from balconies. The effect is fantastic and is complemented by the song of various tropical birds and the sounds of water flowing from fountains, instantly giving the impression of a tropical paradise.

A 25% deposit will be charged to your credit card upon confirmation of booking.

The balance will be charged to your credit card:

seven days prior to arrival if travel occurs between April 1 and December 21

fourteen days prior to arrival if travel occurs between January 4 and March 31

twenty-one days prior to arrival if travel occurs between December 21 and January 3

Cancellations prior to full payment: no penalty.

Cancellations after full payment, one night will be charged.

No-shows will be charged 50% of the rate for each night booked.
